Smart Summon allows your vehicle to remotely drive to you or a location of your choice, maneuver around objects, and stop as needed. To activate Smart Summon from the Tesla app, select Summon from the menu and hold “Come to Me” or set a destination on the map and hold “Go to Target”.
The radio icons have also been updated and are more blurry in this update. Traditional analog radio station markers have been flipped so they are now vertical instead of horizontal.
The letters “FM” have also been replaced with a generic round icon to more include other supported frequency bands such as DAB which is supported in many parts of the world.
The HomeLink button has been renamed again. When pulling up to the garage door, the button will again be labeled with the name you assigned to the garage door (pictured above). However, if you have auto-open or auto-close enabled, you will see Cancel text inside the button for the specific door that will open or close. The rest of the buttons will still display their labels (image below).

The dark mode color scheme has been adjusted to use lighter shades of gray on various screens. For example, prior to this update, apps like car visualizer and media player used the same dark gray color as their background.
However, in this update, Tesla changed the background color of the apps from dark gray to light gray to make them stand out when rendering vehicles.
With this update, Tesla is introducing the ability to minimize the Tesla Theater, allowing you to access vehicle menus and settings without leaving your streaming video.
Previously, when streaming video in full screen, there was a quick access bar at the top of the video that could be opened by tapping at the top of the screen. This status bar allows you to access certain vehicle controls without leaving the video. Video controls such as cabin temperature, screen brightness and volume can be easily changed.
Because you can now minimize a full-screen video without leaving the Videos app, Tesla has basically removed the option that used to appear at the top of the video.
When tapped at the top of the screen, the number of options has been reduced to minimize theater, the back button, and battery status.
A gray line has also been added to the top of the screen to let you know that you can now swipe down on a full screen video to access other vehicle features.
When you are talking in the car, the green phone icon will now always be visible in the status bar, regardless of whether the calling card is hidden. The status bar icon has also changed slightly, from a pill shape to a square shape.
