        Restart your Android smartphone or tablet. The restart should clear up any glitches or conflicts that might be preventing the connection between your phone, car, and the Android Auto app. A simple reboot cleared it and everything worked again.
        Check your connection to make sure everything is working. Whether you’re using a wired or wireless connection, make sure everything is connected and working together. If you are using a data cable to connect your device to Android Auto, make sure it is not damaged. Even if it appears to be in good working order, if something is broken inside that you can’t see, you should try another one.
        Make sure your phone and Android Auto app are up to date. An outdated application or operating system can prevent everything from working properly. Keep your phone and apps up to date.
