Mercedes-Benz publishes prices and specifications of EQA350 4matic

German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz has released specifications and pricing for a more powerful version of its EQA compact SUV.
The EQA 350 4matic joins Mercedes’ growing fleet of electric vehicles. Priced at $96,900 before travel, that’s $17,600 more than its stable EQA 250 model.
Although it has the same battery capacity of 66.5 kWh (usable capacity) as its sibling EQA 250, it is equipped with two electric motors on the front and rear axles.
With a total output of 215 kW from two electric motors compared to 140 kW for the 250, the EQA 350 4matic also delivers more power at traffic lights with 520 Nm of torque.
This means that the acceleration is not 6 seconds from standstill to 100 km / h, but at the cost of a slightly shorter range.
Unlike the EQA 250, which has a range of 426 km (WLTP) in mixed highway and city driving (about 380 km in real conditions), the EQA 350 4matic offers about 400 km (WLTP) in real conditions (about 357 km).
In addition to the premium specification EQA 250, the EQA 350 4matic will also come standard with AMG Line Sports trim. This treatment includes red stitching on the dash and belt, silver chrome air vents, and black sport seats (which also feature red stitching).
The EQA 350 also differs from the EQA 250 in a number of exterior cues, including the AMG-specific apron with functional “air curtain” and a high-gloss black double-blade panel in front of (not) the radiator.
The 20-inch AMG multi-spoke wheels are also painted in high-gloss black. Adjustable damping and multi-link rear suspension complement the direct steering system and dynamic drive options.
In terms of infotainment and connectivity options, the EQA 350 4matic comes with voice control of the MBUX system, which can also be accessed via the 10.25-inch touchscreen. Next to it is a second screen that serves as a digital instrument cluster.
Like other Mercedes-Benz EQ vehicles, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard. There’s also wireless smartphone charging, automatic climate control, DAB+ digital radio and a range of security features. For the comfort of passengers, heated front seats are provided.
Standard safety features include Active Distance Assist cruise control with automatic restart in traffic, route-based speed adaptation, and a range of active assists including steering, braking, lane keeping and blind spot monitoring. Speed sign recognition, parking assistance and nine airbags are also available.
For an additional $3,900, drivers will receive a limited number of EQA 350 4matics First Editions. Includes “aerodynamically optimized” high-gloss copper alloys, gray and blue interior trim, backlit trim and other blue touches such as stitching on the door panels and center console, and chrome/blue air vents. Also included are roof rails, First Edition floor mats and illuminated door sills, as well as optional rose gold keys.
